Blue-purple look with sparkles and more of Sleek Snapshots

Hello!

A friend visited me today, and we had a really nice long chat showing each other our wedding photos (we both got married recently :)) whilst enjoying some tea and snacks. Yes, it is tea time again here in the Lowlands…rain, grey skies and wind have come back. Altogether we should not complain though. We had a splendid summer this year and the arrival of autumn is only natural…plus, there is so much to enjoy about autumn: the colours, drinking hot tea cuddled up under a blanket while reading a book, pumpkin soup…

If you thought that was prelude to some autumn-inspired looks, I fear you were wrong…Perhaps those will follow soon. For now, however, I have two colourful looks.

Unfortunately, most of the photos I took today were really bad so I only have two to show you. I blame it on Friday 13th!!!

My Sleek eye dust Hypnotic was whispering in my ear how much it wants to be taken out of the drawer today…and I don’t need a lot of convincing when it comes to this pigment. It’s just so damn gorgeous! I think photos don’t do it enough justice sometimes. It looks x times better live!

I have always loved the combination of blue and lilac a lot, and since I have such an e/s now in my Sleek Snapshots palette, that was enough to inspire my first look:

Sorry, just one photo this time. The others didn’t make the cut :/.

Do you see the pretty purple glitter in the centre of the lid? Yes, Essence Sparkling Purple crystal liner 🙂 Too bad I could not capture this look well on camera…

List of products used:

  • Essence I love stage e/s base
  • Sleek eye dust Hypnotic
  • Sleek Snapshots palette
  • Nivea e/s #13 Vintage Rose
  • Essence Sparkling Purple crystal liner
  • Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara (which started drying heavily about a month after purchase btw)
  • Eye Candy false lashes #003

The same (mis)fortune was destined to haunt my second look as well. I just couldn’t take a proper picture. Anyway, I used mostly my Snapshots palette and it turned out reaaally colourful:

Both looks were dramatic enough, in their own way, to require some false lashes. I used Eye Candy 003 lashes. I have to cut them a bit though…you can see they are a slightly too long for my lash line. I just couldn’t bring myself to take out the scissors and mutilate them for all eternity hahaha…Next time!

List of products used:

  • Essence I love stage e/s base
  • NYX JEP Milk
  • Sleek Snapshots palette
  • MUG e/s Corrupt
  • Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara
  • Eye Candy false lashes #003

Enjoy autumn and if you have any ideas what kind of autumn looks you would like to see here, feel free to let me know in the comments!

Till next time 🙂
