Outfit of the day

Hello fellow makeup addicts,

I will write a post now that seems to be quite popular among beauty bloggers…the so-called OOTD = outfit of the day. This is not the reason for this post, though. Apart from my makeup addiction, I also have a very serious shopping problem. I luv luv luv buying clothes, shoes, bags, scraves, hats, stockings with funky patterns, earrings, bracelets, rings…you get the idea.

Deciding what I am going to wear and the makeup I will do in the morning, used to be among the highlights of my working day…One of the things I miss the most now that I am unempolyed is this particular moment in time and space, those 5 min when in my mind I mixed and matched clothes, shoes, accessories and makeup. It may seem very superficial to you but it was one of those little pleasures in life that I enjoyed. My day started “bright and shiny” to quote Meredith from Grey’s Anatomy.

Now that my prancing-in-my-new-clothes days are over (at least temporarily), I might as well use this online space to show an outfit every now and then.

The one of today is very simple, casual and comfy and includes my brand-new Jane Norman cream-coloured sweater (a present from my sweet hubby :), thank you baby!!!). I seem to be a huge fan of this brand. I think half of my wardrobe is Jane Norman, and the other half is Orsay (my other favourite brand, sadly not in the Netherlands)…and some other brands in-between (like Superstar or Steps).

Enough babbling, =>

I am not much of a model, so don’t mind that part!

I am also really liking the comfy black boots  from van Haren 🙂
