Hello again!
Yesterday, whilst browsing through WomanBerry’s lovely blog, I stumbled upon her post on the Urban Decay Deluxe shadow box palette, and I realized that I have never done any looks for my blog with this baby. What a shame! For it is a beautiful collection of bright gorgeous colours, among UD’s best! It also happens to be the only UD product that I own…I know all about the mega famous Naked palettes but I am not a very neutral girl, and they never tempted me too much, what with the price and all… Some day perhaps…
I ordred the Deluxe box a while ago online, for $25 if my memory serves me well. It comes with 2 totally useless sponge applicators (sponge applicators can actually do the job well, but these are beyond awful!), 1 mini-version of the Primer Potion (most of which lost, due to fact that you can never get it out of the jar), and the best part: 9 of UD’s most loved eyeshadows. The packaging is, as usual with Urban Decay, very sleek and stylish, but I will just show you the shadows, for they steal the show, hands down!..Look:
All the shadows have cool names..isn’t it so much better to have Graffiti and Shag on your eyelids, than e/s #23 and #301?!?!? And if you didn’t already know that, Urban Decay e/s are of magnificent quality, they are like colourful butter…they just glide on and blend effortlessly on your lids.
Anyway, the challenge (well, not much of a challenge) was to create looks using ONLY this palette. I will admit to reaching out for my MUG Beaches and Cream e/s for under the brow because I didn’t want to shine like a discoball (all the e/s here have a shimmery/satin finish..no mattes), but for the rest I used only the UD Deluxe shadow box.
The first look is a green-gold look using: Graffiti, Honey, Underground, Shag, Peace and Zero:

Look #2 basically focused on the rest of the e/s: Ransom, Fishnet and Scratch, plus Underground and Shag in the crease area:

Thank you WomanBerry, for reminding me of this lovely palette!
What is your favourite colour in the UD Deluxe Shadow box palette? (for me that would easily be Graffiti..hmm and Honey :))
wow!!! Amazing! ❤
PS: My favorite color from the palette is Underground 🙂
PS2: Do you have a FB page? :))
No, I don’t have the courage yet, I think it’s not good enough to show to too many people
Lovely colour…they are actually all my favorites..I am such a colour-whore hahaha
Thank you very much!
