Essence “Black Sparrow” colour art pigment look

And here it comes, my dramatic look for today!

I found another Essence pigment for an euro deal…what made me even happier (apart from the discount), is that this pigment seems to be a duochrome!!! πŸ˜€ I will not dare compare it to Blue Brown from MAC or Insomnia from MUG, at this point, because I don’t have either of those…but when I do, I will let you know whether the resemblance is indeed there.

I took out my Sleek Snapshots palette, put my new Essence pigment on the table, some falsies… and hoped for the best πŸ™‚

This is the result:

And this last photo I add because I like the effect of the light.

The thing is that in real life the colour of this pigment seems different depending on the light you look at it…it can be sort of brown-grey-ish..or dark dark green. That’s how I see it at least..either that, or I am hallucinating πŸ˜› I also think the base you use would make a huge difference. Here, I only used the e/s base…but on top of black, or dark grey…or white..who knows..I will try and let you know!

List of products used:

  • Essence I love stage e/s base
  • NYX JEP Milk (base for Sleek e/s)
  • Sleek Snapshots palette
  • Essence #20 Black Sparrow colour art pigment
  • Essence gel liner #05 Miami’s Ink
  • Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara
  • Eye Candy False Lashes #003

Let me know how you like this look, and this pigment. Did Essence do a great job, or yes?! πŸ™‚

See you soon!
