Insomniac: a look with MUG pigment Insomnia

Hello!

I haven’t been sleeping all that well the last week, so I think the name of the makeup look in this post perfectly correlates with my current state: Insomniac.

Insomnia is one of my new MUG pigments, a split personality, duo chrome blue-brown beauty who couldn’t wait to get out of the jar and stun the world with her undecidedness. The question certainly isn’t whether She will succeed, but shall I? For capturing the two faces of this pigment on camera, on a lousy cloudy day…let me tell you, not an easy task!

I used Essence’s gel liner Miami’s ink as base for Insomnia and did sort of a smokey eye:

Can you see how she hesitates between the metallic blue-green and the reddish-brown colour? I hope you can…

List of products used:

  • Essence I love stage e/s base
  • Essence gel liner Miami’s Ink
  • MUG e/s Frappe
  • MUG e/s Beaches and Cream
  • MUG e/s Shimma Shimma
  • MUG e/s Corrupt
  • MUG e/s Graphite
  • MUG pigment Insomnia
  • Max Factor black kohl pencil
  • Max Factor Wild Mega Volume volumising mascara

What do you think about Insomnia? And how do you like this look? Let me know in the comments, if you find a spare minute 🙂

  1. Wauw looks really great! Adding slightly more highlight in the inner corner and the browbone would do the magic trick in combo with a black pencil or liner om the moving eyelid. But I love the coulours!!!!!
