Hey guys,
I will show you a look I did with my Inglot babies some time ago…It was literally dark here already at 14h, so I didn’t have much time to do makeup..let alone take proper photos of it. Sorry, it’s not my intention to whine about the weather again, but it’s just so f%^*ing depressing.
Whatever! At least it’s Sinterklaas (5th of Dec is a special day here in the Netherlands..Sinterklaas is sort of their version of Santa, but please don’t make me tell the story cause after 7 years here, I am still not sure I quite get it. Something about him being from Turkey, but coming on a boat to the Netherlands from Spain…you get it, it’s complicated).
My husband isn’t a native either, so we aren’t really going to celebrate but the mere fact that it’s Sinterklaas gives me a warm feeling 🙂 Plus, we already demolished a 1kg bag of chocolade kruidnootjes (tiny cookie awesomeness covered with either pure, white or milk chocolate yum yum), which totally counts as a Sinterklaas tradition in my mind 😛
Back to the makeup though. It’s pretty colourful, and quite Inglot-inspired. Basically it’s a teal and purple combo.
Most of the e/s are Inglot mattes…except for inner corner highlight the look is also pretty matte. ..Which is new for me, but I like it. Good-quality matte shades are starting to really make their way up my list of most beloved makeup products.
How about you? Do you like to use matte e/s? Which are your favourite brands for those?
