New Year’s Eve party makeup – part 1: Dark and Smokey with loads of Glitter and …

Hi guys!

Long time no see, my apologies therefore!

I have been travelling a lot recently…visited my parents in Bulgaria, visited my best friend in France (Nin, thank you for the lovely time again! I will come back in the summer ;)!)…Then, did a week of cat-sitting in the country of Limburg (lol, Dutch people will get the joke :P, and for the rest, shortly, Limburg is the South province of the Netherlands and the Dutchies themselves joke that it’s like a different country there). Anyhow…

I have so many posts in mind, new products I obtained for review, makeup looks to show you with those…but let’s take it one step at a time.

Since I missed on the Xmas makeup looks idea-pitching, I feel like I should at least give you some ideas on NY’S eve looks 🙂 Part 1, today, will be a bit more on the heavy, crazy side…I am talking dark smokey eye, piles of glitter…and a little something to make the look even more special… 😉 I will let the photos speak for themselves:

Haha, toldya! Little gems to complement this crazy party look, totally fitting, right?!

I tried making some eye photos as well, but the glitter doesn’t come out very well:

And, if you were to go really crazy, you’d add dark lips to this look:

Phew, don’t think I have ever had this many photos in one post 🙂

I hope you like this idea, and it inspires you in the creation of your NY’s Eve party makeup look.

Tomorrow’s part 2 will be more tuned down, a subtle party look for the ladies out there who prefer not to go all glittery, smokey and overboard.

See you soon!

XOXO

  1. Looking very good honey! Missed you too! However I Miss a black eyeliner to put the drama in the make-up. And possibly toned the lipstick a little down and add a bit more blush.
Can’t wait to see your next looks. Xx

    • Thank you hun! I am back! Hmm, somehow live I really didn’t feel like I missed the black liner, but on the photos it does seem like it could have been there 🙂 Well anyway…that’s always an easy step to add. Many kisses and hugs!
