Makeup featuring Concrete Minerals’ X’s and O’s, Jezbel, White Rabbit and Deviant loose eyeshadows

Hi everyone!

Happy 2014 🙂  and may your makeup (and other) dreams come true during our next spin around the Sun!!!

Before getting into the blog posts I am planning for my new Sugarpill, Tarte and Urban Decay goodies, I would like to show you some more looks with the mineral eyeshadows I bought from Concrete Minerals not so long ago. I am really loving them and it would be a shame not to share with you how awesome they are! Right?

Today’s makeup will focus on a few of the shades I have in my collection, with X’s and O’s taking the spotlight. X’s and O’s is a really beautiful magenta-purple with copper sparkles which I promised to show you better in my Concrete Minerals review post (which you can find here). It sounds very scary, I know…magenta-purple…bright! In reality, it is a perfectly wearable colour, and not only for evening makeup but also during the day.

I combined it with several other Concrete Minerals eyeshadows: White Rabbit (white with pink sheen), Jezbel (dark purple) and Deviant (deep plum, almost brown).

This exact same makeup look I wore on my birthday a few days ago 🙂 Don’t you think X’s and O’s (main colour on the lid) complements brown eyes really well???

Looking at the photos now, I realize most of the eyeshadows come out pretty matte, when in fact, they have sparkles. That is a result not only of my inability to capture them with my camera, but also the sad fact that the sparkles don’t stick around for very long…Oh well, I can live with that! 🙂
