Hi there!
My name is Mariam. I live in the Netherlands (since 2006), genetically speaking I am Armenian, but I was born in Bulgaria. I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world 🙂
I am married (to a hopeless case of a gamer…if you know what TF2 stands for, high five!). I also have an unhealthy love affair with our cat, Bruce (Wayne, yes, like Batman…you guessed right: he is a black kitty, and I love him to bits).
I have been in a long-term relationship with science and makeup since I was 15, with one as a job…the other as a hobby. I have a PhD in the biomedical sciences and still work in academic research.
Generally, I live and breathe bright colours and am obsessed with eyeshadows. That’s not to say, I don’t enjoy my fair share of all other beauty-related products. I am particularly drawn to indie brands and love discovering new ones. I also write about and use budget brands. You will not really find high-end products on my blog, so if that’s something you are into, then you are at the wrong address. Nothing wrong with them, just not my thing.

Thank you for stopping by and yaay to liking my first video :D! Most indie brands are available only through online stores. To be honest, I have also found them mostly through watching youtube videos of fellow makeup addicts…I especially enjoy the videos of the Biohazardous Beauty, because she uses a lot of indie brands too. And, of course through blogs, which I stumbled upon randomly.
