Experimental makeup (a.k.a. some crazy stuff)

I am not sure what possessed me today but I did some really crazy makeup. I don’t think that was my plan but little by little it just got weirder and weirder (at least for my standards) and the result was certainly not what I imagined when I started. Instead of naming this look an accident, I will use a perfect word we have for it in Bulgarian “shturotii” (щуротии) which basically translates into crazy stuff 🙂 But sounds cooler!

Without further ado, I present to you my shturotii look:

Razzleberry Glamorous look with MakeupGeek (MUG) eyeshadows: for the brave-hearted

Hello again!

Although considered somewhat unwearable, red eyeshadows have really started to grow on me. Wearing a bright bold colour, such as red, on your eyelids is not for the feeble-hearted…because you WILL be seen, you WILL stand out, people WILL notice your makeup. But then again, why not?! Why neglect this beautiful colour for fear of the looks you will get throughout the day (some will approve and compliment you, others will frown upon it “oh look she has Sooo much makeup on!”) Who cares! As far as I am concerened, NO colour should be excluded for such trivial reasons…Now, if you happen not to like it, that’s another story.

…But how can anyone dislike Razzleberry? Let me introduce you to the MakeupGeek e/s Razzleberry:

Can you honestly tell me that you do not like it?! Can you be this cruel?! I guess not 😛 Red-pink e/s with gold shimmer…speaks for itself. Very rich and pigmented, easy to blend (although if you blend too much the gold shimmer disappears)…and oh so warm!

I paired Razlleberry with Glamorous and added some glitter 🙂

Cat-inspired makeup

Yes, you read it right…makeup inspired by a cat, well, my cat actually 🙂

His name is Bruce. He is almost two years old and he is adorable…To be perfectly honest, before him I was never big on cats, mainly because I grew up around dogs and the rare contacts I had with cats served to convince me that cats are..hmm, kinda evil. My husband though…he is a CAT person, the cat whisperer in flesh and blood. He always had cats growing up and his dream was to have a black kitty. Two years ago, after a visit to the animal shelter, his wish came true and we took home a little black kitten. Another something my husband is a huge fan of is Batman…I guess you can see where I am heading with this…Bruce (Wayne) the cat, Batman at night 🙂

I will never forget the first thing this little ball of satin black fur did when we let him out of the transport cage at home. We sat on the couch, trying to act normal…He sniffed a bit the perimeter, then came to us, jumped on my lap and gave me a nudge on the face (cuteness overload!!!)…then he did the same with my husband. I, of course, fell in love instantly!!!

Bruce is a very gezellig (as they say in Dutch) creature. He is always around us, he is always in the mood to play and I’d go as far as to say, he is the prettiest member of our household…Wouldn’t you agree?

So, he is the inspiration for this post. I did a black smokey eye (fur) with a green pop (eyes), and white in the inner corner (he has small white patches here and there).

Sorry for the crazy eyebrow situation, I am not the master of my brows (yet!).
