Purple cat eye with a green pop

My battle with the darkness of the winter continues in this post as well…

For whatever reason my mind really wanted to come up with makeup that combines the lilac and the light green e/y from my beloved Sleek Snapshots palette. I tried something on Friday but wasn’t very satisfied with the result, plus it was so rainy and dark that making photos was a real pain. Today, however, I enjoyed the outcome a lot better (and the Sun was shining, yaay!), so I would like to share it with you 🙂

What I used:

  • Essence I love stage e/s base
  • Catrice kajal pencil in white
  • Sleek Snapshots palette
  • Max Factor black kohl pencil
  • Max Factor Wild Mega Volume volumising mascara

I will definitely use this combination of colours in an everyday look one of those days, perhaps minus the cat-eye shape..it’s a tad too dramatic for daytime makeup.

What do you think about this look? I hope you like it as well 🙂

Green with green glitter

And hello once again!

The second post of today will very short, just the makeup 🙂

Minty

Hey gals (and pals)!

As promised, a look that is not that crazy and overly colourful :)…well, it is a bit colourful, but I would wear it out, no problem!

I called it “Minty”, because of the main colour in it…Summer Breeze from the Sleek Snapshots palette (I also used it a few days ago for my purple green look). I paired it with the aqua blue, Humming Bird (cute name, ha?!), from the same palette and added a touch of MUG Peacock e/s on the lower lash line.

Humming Bird is fabulous, and I am definitely planning to do a look where it can take the spotlight.

If I have to be perfectly honest, Summer Breeze (the minty green e/s) is not the easiest e/s to work with. Building it up is an almost impossible task…try as I might, it just kept flying off of my lid. I think in the end, only applying it with my finger actually did the trick.
