I don’t really do a lot of tags on my blog…did it only once before. It’s not that I don’t enjoy them, but on the other hand I don’t necessarily feel the need to be overly personal…
Yesterday, though, I saw a really fun tag on the blog of the lovely Teia Ted. I love both her blog and her personality! She is honest, witty and reading her posts is always a real pleasure :)..not to mention all the useful information you can be find in them! I should warn you it’s in Bulgarian ;)…
The tag is called the seven deadly sins of makeup…so here are mine:
1. Greed
What is the most expensive item in your collection?
No need to think long…this beautiful Shiseido eyeshadow trio. It must have been 2-3 years ago when for reasons, kill me I can’t remember, I decided that I really needed an orange eyeshadow. My quest proved to be quite a challenging one and I finally ended up in ICI Paris XL where a very friendly sales lady presented me with this fabulous Shiseido palette, containing the coveted orange eyeshadow.
Now, as a poor PhD candidate, Shiseido wasn’t exactly a brand I had in mind. I mean, the thing was around €40 (you can buy a Naked palette with this much money)!!! But then, I don’t know what possessed me, it somehow ended up in my bag…I must have yearned that orange eyeshadow badly hahaha
Well, you can see, that all three shades have been loved and the quality of the eyeshadows is pretty amazing…so, do I regret it? Nope 😛
2. Wrath
What is the makeup product you have a love/hate relationship with?
I have a “love you but hate you relationship” with two makeup products: liquid liner & bronzer.
Liquid liner is clear, right? Who doesn’t love it…who doesn’t hate it??? Although, I have made significant progress with the winged liner, every now and then, it still ruins my life.
Contouring with bronzer is another source of frustration for me..I try really hard, and it still doesn’t look like what it should…Is it the brush? Is it my technique…Or both? Something is missing in my love affair with the bronzer…BUT! We will find a way to love each other…eventually…I am sure 🙂
3. Gluttony
Which brand prevails in your makeup collection?
Now, in all honesty the answer here would be NONE…I am a true “brand slut”, I get in bed with everyone 😛 muahahaha
Truthfully, I like discovering new brands and trying new things so that sort of question will probably always be inapplicable to me.
Let’s say, for the sake of the tag, that I have loads of Makeup Geek products (eyeshadows, pigments, a gel liner…and a few brushes)
4. Sloth
Which product do you skip most often because you are feeling just a little bit lazy?
Eyeshadows…
Are you shocked? I -the lover, adorer and worshipper of eyeshadows – skip them?!?!? What on Earth is happening here?!?!?! I can explain…
I like doing makeup with eyeshadows properly…a bit of smoked out taupe colour on the lid because I am feeling lazy…ehm no, not my cup of tea. It’a all or nothing 😉
5. Pride
Which product makes you feel most self-confident?
Going out without a gram of makeup on my face is not unheard of…some days are just allocated to “rest from makeup”…and I have no problem prancing out as it is.
To feel confident though, all I need is: a bit of bb cream, powder, blush and mascara…oh, and some lip gloss 🙂 For me, those products can make the difference between feeling blah, and feeling pretty darn good about myself!
6. Lust
What do you wish the most?
Ah, I lusted after the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette ever since it came out. I didn’t really need it but I had to have it. A limited edition Urban Decay beauty…who wouldn’t be tempted to get that for their birthday?!
I promise to do a review, swatches and makeup looks with it!
7. Envy
What makeup product looks good on others, but not you?
The brows, man, the brows 
I love well-done eyebrows. They look fantastic…just not on me. It’s probably some distorted reality that I see in the mirror but I just can’t come to terms with eyebrow products. I don’t know whose fault it is…
Perhaps some day…

Двете неща, които харесах, са спиралата за вежди на Картис – за нея четох добро ревю в друг блог, а също й от някой от кремообразните ружове на Буржоа. Много съм предубедена към марката, а е толкова хвалена, ще се пречупя :-). Хареса ми и двойният руж на Боди Шоп, но нямаме наоколо и няма да го заглеждам повече.
Бих притежавала с най-голямо удоволствие компактните палитри за очи, които си показала. Но и стооко животно да бях, палитри скоро едва ли ще ми бъдат нужни. ЗА това само гледам и се радвам на чуждите с надеждата да похабя някоя от моите 🙂
На Тарт бих пипнала бронзъра на живо, просто да го разгледам, докосна, помириша, защото марката ми е много любопитна. Тези дни гледах тяхна пудра с невероятно сладка кабуки четка – направо е едно голямо “ах!” 🙂
Спиралата за вежди не е лоша..аз най-вече за фиксиране на веждите я ползвам. Големи дупки не покрива, а моите вежди и без това са толкова тъмни, че и да излиза цвят, аз не го виждам. Аз предпочитам пудрените продукти за вежди и тези на Катрис хич не са лоши!
Буржоа досега не са ме разочаровали. Марката е притежание на Шанел и се твърди, че някои продукти са доста сходни като качество (мисля че за фдт Шанел Пролюмиер и Хелти Микса на Буржоа ставаше върпос). Ружчетата някои ги обичат, други ги плюят. Имай предвид, че са с крем-пудра текстура, не са мазни. Аз съм влюбена и ги искам всичките!!! Разнасям си ги с пръсти след бб крема и преди да нанеса пудра (може и с четка за фдт) и на моята ужасна кожа стоят НЕВЕРОЯТНО! Гладки и сияйни скули 🙂
Ах, този Боди Шоп..ние с една приятелка искахме да ги франчайзваме в БГ, щот си е престъпление че още не са на бг пазар хахах..Е, не ни взеха насериозно, де…хайде дано скоро и при вас да дойдат…
Тарт са невероятни…красота, качество, изящество…всичко тяхно ми харесва безумно. Няма ги в Европа, става само със заявки от Америка или Канада. Тарт са за мен американсия вариант на Боди Шоп, приниципът за използването на натурални продукти е много застъпен. Аз ще пиша по-натам обстойно за нещицата ми от Тарт 🙂
Палитри имам за няколко живота напред, но всичките си ги уважавам редовно, да не се засегне някой хахаха
