Hello again!
And now finally I get to show some makeup π Naturally, it had to feature some of my new MUG pigments.
I created a look inspired by Marlena from Makeup Geek, since I saw something similar she made a while ago. I hope you don’t really mind that it is once again, autumn-inspired π
The look has green, gold, orange, red and brown:
And then I felt as if a pair of falsies were missing, so:
It was sort of a challenge for me to fit all these colours on the lid, but this is exactly how I imagined the look in my head.
What I used:
- Essence I love stage e/s base
- Sleek eye dust Green with Envy
- MUG pigment Liquid Gold
- MUG pigment Blitz
- Barry M dazzle dust Burnt Orange
- MUG e/s Razzleberry
- MUG e/s Bada Bing
- MUG e/s Cosmopolitan
- MUG e/s Chickadee
- MUG e/s Beaches and Cream
- MUG e/s Corrupt
- Max Factor black kohl pencil
- MaxΒ Factor Wild Mega Volume volumising mascara
- Eye Candy false lashes #007
How do you like this look? And just fyi, I did go out today wearing a look like this one ;)…would you?
Aargh, I have a love and hate relationship with this look…… I absolutely love the colour combinations in the outercorners and crease (still miss e/s on the browbone though π ..) but the gold is to bright for me in combo with the rest, although it does match perfectly with the green in the inner corner… It tends to overrule the beautiful orange and red Its a mix of spring and autumn for me π Love the winged eyeliner, but the black in the water line would look better on the lower lash line and then slightly faded, its a bit harsh now.. The falsies are a very good addition to the look!
Crap, this post is really too long, and I don’t want to sound negative, because I love the creativity, I really encourage you to make more of these looks!! π I love what you do, but this look, as I said, I have a love and hate relationship with π
Big hug from your dearest follower!! XX
PS: please don’t kill me, but I couldn’t stop typing…
Hahaha what an extensive comment π Ok, let’s see…the gold is quite potent but I so love it! The orange I should have foiled because it came out too weak dry…notice for next time. The red is already quite strong but I could make it more intense to match the gold. I agree that the brown should be a bit more up on the brow bone…I had that feeling too when I looked at the photos. I did do something similar with dark brown in the waterline and that looked also very nice, and not as harsh as the black…so that could be an alternative…but smoking some black on the lower lash line sounds interesting, so I will give it a try. This is actually a look I am planning for a photo shoot with the J-man, so it has to be perfect :)!!!
Thank you for your input! Always appreciated!!! I will let you know how the follow up look turn out!!!
